OOTD – Colourtastic!
Looking at these photos, I wish I’d worn more open shoes, but I’m working on limited wardrobe and hey, you can’t win them all! The weather has been a tad weird lately, lovely warm spring days, but come afternoon it turns dark and we’ve been getting storms. Aussie Curves – Stripes
I did have something different envisioned for this weeks theme of ‘stripes’, that was, until I realised I’d packed it. Darn it! I love stripes and own a few striped pieces, my newest & current favourites are these striped tights from Supre! I channeled my inner 15 year old, I was a goth back in my younger days, and in the end, I really liked how the outfit turned out. It was comfortable, but not too over the top with the stripes. Plus size in Supre!
SUPRE! I gave up looking in Supre years ago when it started stocking only sizes 4XS-L. A handful of things went up to a XL, but not much. I think that before the last few months, I’d bought one thing (a scarf) in the last 5 years. With the oversized trend though, I started looking in the more ‘straight’ sized stores. OOTD – A bright Fathers Day!
Last Sunday was Fathers Day here in Australia. This is the first Fathers Day i’ve had with my Dad in a few years as I was in New Zealand the year before, and living in a different state the years before that. It was nice getting up and giving Dad his cards and presents, and then spending the day with him. Even if he wouldn’t wear the badge that came on his card! OOTD: Blogging attire – You thought I had style!?
I blog from home, in all honesty, I’m a big homebody, I don’t get out much, I don’t have a huge social life. I love fashion & I love getting dressed up, but the fact remains, I work from home & I’m not always dressed stylishly. Paired with the fact I’m not feeling 100% and i’m packing, I don’t want to ruin any ‘good’ clothes. It may not look like it from these photos, it’s actually winter here.
