Aussie Curves – Feathers
I was stumped for this weeks #aussiecurves theme, feathers! I have one item of jewellery that combines feathers, but I’d already rocked them for the Bling theme. Then randomly last night I remembered, I HAD LEAF BROOCHES! Yes, my epic box of badges and brooches finally came in handy! Aussie Curves – Polka dots!
Polka dots! I love POLKA DOTS! I went through a stage when I would want to buy everything and anything polka dots, and then when my Nan lived with us, I didn’t buy any for years, as they messed with what little vision she had. I’ve had this dress for years, I remember walking into the City Chic store in Parramatta and it was instant love. My boyfriend at the time helped me buy it. New Year, New Outfit!
Sorry for the brief disappearance, I took a well needed break away from everyday life. It’s amazing how reliant I’ve become on the internet. The first day with hardly any reception left me feeling rather anxious. After 10 days, I came home & wish I hadn’t. Real life, pfft, why can’t I hang by the lake, or the beach or stroll beautiful gardens all the time? Maybe i’ll have to look into moving! Outfit of the other day!
I’d forgotten I’d taken these photos last week, to say my head hasn’t been working properly is a bit of an understatement. This was just something I threw on quickly to go out to Kmart in. The dress is a size too large but I couldn’t be bothered with all the hassle of returns, so I just belted it. Turns out, I really like it larger, it’s so comfy and great for hot summer days! Ootd – NO BLACK!
You may have noticed a majority of my wardrobe is black. I love black. It goes with everything! It’s safe. I’ve been reading Nessbow‘s blog the past week & what can I say, other then she really inspired me to try and wear some colour! The only thing black in the outfit is my Meowl ring i’m wearing.
