Plus Size Outfit – Drawn to grey.

I’m back home in Melbourne and need to get back into the swing of everyday life again. It was great seeing family in Sydney and staying with my parents & their doggos. It’s good to be home though. All the clothes i’m wearing I picked up in Sydney! I did a bit of shopping & had a bit of trouble fitting everything in my suitcase. I’m so in love with grey at the moment, I seem to picking up grey coloured items all the time lately. I had to pick up groceries today and was excited I got to wear my new jacket, it’s COLD here in Melbourne! This jacket…

    Outfit – Oh so 90s!

To me, this outfit just makes me think of the 90s, a very monochrome toned 90’s (my hair excluded). I think it’s the beret. One thing I’ve been learning since my move to Melbourne, is layering. The weather here is, well, ever changing, so layers help keep you warm, or cool off. Pants UNDER dresses. Yep, I did it. I remember going to school wearing my school dress, but then chucking on a pair of tracky dacks underneath to keep warm, knowing that i’d strip them off half way through the school day, and Voilà I’m still in uniform. I blame Margaret Zhang for my current love of pants under dresses.…

In the dressing room – Kmart & Millers

It’s been awhile since I’ve done an ‘in the dressing room’ post, and it’s one I get asked for often. Only a quick one today, from two stores. First up is this Kmart Tunic. I saw it hanging up and loved the colours in the print. I tried on the 22 and it fit pretty perfectly. The back was black with some elastic darting to give it a bit of shape. It was $17. I didn’t buy it, but after posting the pic on instagram, I decided to go back and buy it. I have been doing good with my “non essential spending ban’, I thought I could give myself…

    Aussie Curves – Nature

This weeks Aussie Curves theme had me a little stumped. I didn’t consider Aussie Curves when I was packing for Melbourne, so I was somewhat limited to what I have to wear. I was thinking I could wear the city chic dress I wore on my birthday, but that was in my last post and I didn’t want to bore everyone. So I’ve kind of just went with this! Dinosaur skeletons are nature, right!?  I’ve been waiting and waiting for the weather to get cooler so I can wear this jumper. I love it sooo much! It’s one of the pieces I was lucky enough to get Lucy to help…

    Aussie Curves – Maxi

I’m not really a wearer of maxi dresses. I quite like them, but I just don’t think I like them on me. I own 3 maxi dresses (not including 2 gowns I own) and this is my 2nd favourite. Oddly enough my favourite is in the wash because I’d been wearing it. Maxi dresses can be the ultimate comfort dress and I’d been curled up on the lounge for a fair few days last week. I decided to wear my floral headband. I’ve been trying to just do little things in my day to make myself feel happier, and flower crowns do that for me. This outfit made me feel…
