Do you have those days when you just want to put on your comfiest clothes and crawl onto the couch and not move? I’ve been having a lot of those lately, but alas, being an adult means you often have to suck it up and do what needs to be done. It’s been ages since I’ve pulled this top out to wear, it’s a favourite of mine, but one I really have to be in the mood to wear. While I have learnt to love my body, it still takes courage and the right state of mind to rock body con outfits,or anything you’re not suppose to wear whilst fat. Last Thursday, one of my longest friends messaged me, asking if I wanted to go with her to see Kanye. I bit back my initial response of “DUH!” and replied with a “yes please!“. There was so many amazing things at Curvy Couture Roadshow, I honestly felt a little overwhelmed. The fact that i’m super broke (& failing at saving) didn’t help the fact either.
