This was originally going to be a vlog, but due to running around to doctors, poor mental health, and not finding the right lighting (I really need to invest in proper lights), it’s ended up being a blog post! New Hair Colour! The Sunset edition.
Pink is always a hair colour I come back to, it’s what I like to call my ‘natural’ colour, but every now and then, I like a change. I’m hoping to get on my way to purple & green, but they are two colours I don’t actually have right now, so I sorted through my stash & decided to go with one of my previous favourite colour combos. I had pink/orange/yellow balayage probably around 10 years ago now, and I loved it. This time I did the front a balayage, and the underneath a yellow/orange. (I want to go neon green underneath, so slowly getting that area lighter & lighter)…

If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram, you will probably already know, but I’m just SO excited, I thought I’d post about it. I’M BACK TO MY NATURAL COLOUR! For many years I’ve said that I may have been born a brunette, but I’m a natural pink. After a year and half of being (mostly) blonde, I just couldn’t resist the call of pink hair again. New hair cut & Outfit August
When I got back from Aitutaki around 17 months ago, the sea water stripped my aqua colour hair back to blonde. I decided then to stop bleaching my hair myself, go to a hairdresser and give my hair a little more love. My hair never grew past my shoulders because of the damage and I desperately wanted long hair. Not long after I went to the hairdressers and got a proper balayage dye & trim, my head started sprouting new baby hair! Since then, I’ve been growing out my hair & boy has it grown! PINK!
So, in a spur of spontaneity last night, this happened! I’m not sure if it was a “omg, I’m turning 28” rebellion or what, but I have to say, it’s nice looking in the mirror and seeing colourful hair! I layered the colours, the top is a pale pink blonde-y colour, underneath it’s a dark magenta, with a few shades between. Have you ever dyed your hair an ‘un natural’ colour?
