    My NYE in pictures.

I just thought I’d share a few snaps from my NYE celebrations. I didn’t take too many photos as I only took my phone & ipad. I decided to just forget about too much social media and live in the now. It was a great night, a wonderful start to the new year! We started the afternoon off at Brighton Le Sands, overlooking the airport, and the peak on the left if La Perouse, where my father grew up and my Uncle still lives in the family house. They had fireworks at 9pm that lasted for just over 20 minutes. They were AMAZING, seriously, breathtaking. The barge in the photo…

    This Christmas (in pictures)

I got to cut up the ham, which was probably a good idea, as I don’t actually eat ham. I did however sneak a few teeeeny pieces to Frodo whilst carving. My Christmas presents, on my horrid carpet. I found both games on sale for $15 at Kmart, so my parents bought them and put them away for Christmas for me. The hair curler I’ve wanted since Fashion Week after playing with Danimezzas. The weather was CRAZY. Usually we end up having horrid hot Christmas days, but this year was the wettest in over 70 years. Luckily our outdoor area has a lot of cover. We shared the day with…

    Birthdays!

Today marked my Mothers 60th Birthday and to celebrate my parents and I went for a drive up the mountains. I’ve always loved the Blue Mountains and since the move, I now live closer to them. I have more photos to show from today, but i’m leaving them for another post. We stopped at Leura to browse around the shops. So many cute boutique stores that I could spend soooo much money at. Teddy Sinclair, Mrs Peel. Not to mention all the things I wanted to buy from The Cats Meow & Leura Gifts and Homewares for #thedarlingden! We then stopped and had lunch at Leura Gourmet Cafe & Deli and OMNOMNOM.…

    Wassup!?

Life is just weird. I can’t really describe how I’m feeling about it at the moment, so here is a list form of some things that has been happening as of late. – Being super super amazingly excited about The Hobbit. Watching the red carpet premiere online and being very emotional. I may have cried. Then being frustrated because Australia isn’t releasing it until boxing day. WHAT! I was even considering flying over to New Zealand on the 13th for a midnight screening… if I won the lottery. – Babysitting my youngest niece & nephew. Watching them play on the awesome play equipment and wishing I could get on and play with…

    Welcoming Betsy!

I’d like to take a moment to introduce everyone to the newest member of our family, Betsy! My parents adopted their dog Emily nearly 3 years ago. She came to my parents scared, timid and in bad condition. She needed teeth removed, her coat tended too and a great deal of love. She was a breeder dog and once used up, was sent off for adoption. I’m so thankful my parents found her and nurtured her. Sadly, she isn’t the healthiest of dogs, like a lot of Cavis, she has heart problems. Emily and Betsy, on Mums lap in the car on the way home. Emily is a different dog around other Cavaliers,…
