My day at Sea World Australia #xlinqld

If you follow me on social media you’d know that I recently took a trip to Surfers Paradise (Queensland) for a week away with family. There has been a lot going on in my life at the moment especially when it comes to my family. My Mum organised for herself, my Dad, my sister and I, to have a week away, spend some time bonding and creating memories. We all got to pick a ‘thing’ we wanted to do and my sister Larnies choice was Sea World. Larnie had never actually seen a dolphin before! Mind blown! She was lucky and got to have her photo taken with a dolphin!…

    White Night Ballarat

On Saturday, I headed into Ballarat for the first time in around 20 years. The trip was a lot easier than expected, I just had to make my way into Southern Cross station and jump on the V-Line. My everyday Myki card works for the trip and ended up only costing like $6 (each way). I had never been on a V-Line train and I was impressed. It was super comfortable and quite spacious with fold down tray tables and toilets in every carriage. It took around an hour and a half to get to Ballarat. We strolled around the streets a little and stopped by an Irish Pub before heading to…

Where to eat in Ballarat – Meigas – The best Tapas I’ve ever had!

When my BFF and I found out that Ballarat was hosting it’s own White Night (more on that later), we decided to head out country for the night and experience what Ballarat had to offer. We booked an Air BnB and asked the host where they would recommend to eat. We decided on Meigas, a Spanish Resturant with some outstanding looking Tapas. We chose the ‘Feed Me’ option, which basically meant they would keep bringing out plates until you told them to stop. I didn’t take pictures of all the dishes, these are only a handful of, gees, around 13 or 14. We got to a point where we were…

Nambucca Heads – What I Wore! Plus size holiday edition!

I didn’t take too many outfit specific images away, as I mentioned, I really just wanted to relax, unwind and take a little time away from social media. I couldn’t stay away completely and had my Mum snap a few quicks pics for me and of course, took a few selfies. Oh, and yes, I only took one pair of sunglasses away with me! I actually wore two dresses to my cousins wedding, but only photographed the first one. I picked this ASOS Salon Prom dress up when it went on sale for a fraction of the price. I just loved the colour. I paired it with a black bolero…

    Nambucca Heads in Pictures! #xlinnambuccaheads

Sorry about the slight absence! I flew up to Sydney last week and decided to have a bit of a social media break. It was a good time to just spend time with my family and just be present in the moment. We headed up to Nambucca heads for my cousins wedding and the views were just amazing! It’s funny, when I was younger, I used to get car sick. I still kind of do, but not so bad. My Grandparents lived in Port Macquarie and it used to take us 2 days to get up there because I just couldn’t do it. We did the trip up to Nambucca…
