If you follow me on social media you’d know that I recently took a trip to Surfers Paradise (Queensland) for a week away with family. There has been a lot going on in my life at the moment especially when it comes to my family. My Mum organised for herself, my Dad, my sister and I, to have a week away, spend some time bonding and creating memories. Outfit of the NYX Face Awards
Wahey! I know outfit posts have been few and far between, but I guess it just makes them all the more special. I wanted something fun but warm to wear to the NYX face awards and decided on this old favourite. What you can’t see is all the layers I have on underneath it! Melbourne is chilly, especially at night! If you’re a long-term follower, yes, you’ve seen this outfit before! 2018 Nyx Face Awards Australia Grand Finale
On Saturday, I was lucky enough to attend the 2018 Nyx Face Awards Grand Finale (Thanks YasssMama.Hey). It was held at Melbourne’s Luna Park, which I had never been to before. So, that was kind of exciting! I’d actually never been to St Kilda before! I’ve lived in Melbourne for around 4 years now and still have so much to explore! I sat outside people watching for a while whilst waiting for my friends to arrive. Monthly Catch Up – May Edition
I know, I’ve been really sucky when it comes to blogging. I’ve lost my mojo. I think I just feel that it doesn’t get read and I don’t want to force it. So I decided that I’m just going to do whatever I feel like! Meccaland – Face Off – On stage and online!
So, last month, I was super excited to get tickets to Meccaland (you can read the post about it here) and gosh was it a day! I actually had the craziest experience. On the day, Mecca had a booth to sign up for a competition called ‘Face Off’. Basically, they took a picture of your makeup look, put them of a board and then picked their 3 favourites. The 3 favourites then participate onstage applying makeup on a model. The winner wins a $1000 gift card, the 2 runners-up get $100.
