It’s been an age since I’ve done an “In the dressing room” post, but I was truly inspired when I walked into Crossroads today. Crossroads can be very hit or miss with me. They are on trend, but often stick to a few particular trends, some which aren’t my style. However, when they do go with a style I like, I find I often want to walk out with multiple bags filled with clothing!
This skirt is something I would never have thought I’d have loved, but it just called out my name. Very 70’s boho. I picked up this top just to try the skirt on with, but really loved the shoulder cut out details! The largest size they had of the top was a 16, but it’s super stretchy (and really comfy). The skirt showed off a little VBO but I also wasn’t wearing the best underwear for trying clothes on.
Cold Shoulder Top – $34.95 (Size 16) || Suedette Button Skirt – $49.95 (Size 22)
This is a super cute tunic, which you could possibly get away with as a dress if you’re my height or shorter. I loved the lace up details and the stripes. Also POCKETS!
I can’t find it on the site but it was $39.95 (Size 22)
I’m loving the geometric trend, as you can probably tell. This dress was on the mannequin outside and is what drew me in to check out the store. Very roomy and comfy, I love the wrap style and sleeves that can be pinned up. I just wish the colour was a white not a beigey-cream.
Check Shirt Dress – $49.95 (Size 22)
I allllmost bought this! The tie up collar and stripes just made me like it, but it was the sleeves that made me fall in love! Sleeve details are IN at the moment and not many plus size stores have picked up on it. They didn’t have this is the 22, so I tried the 20 on and it fit me great.
Striped Shift Dress – $49.95 (Size 20)
These were the things I didn’t buy! I did pick up an amazing dress, but you’re going to have to wait until next week to see it in an Outfit Post! (Unless you want to head over to Crossroads and try and pick what I bought!)
